Just another BBQ night in sweden...

An open letter to whom it may concern.
The summer of 2010.
When I left home in November to go traveling again I had a few goals. Number 1 was to have a great time, #2 was to meet a lot of new interesting and fantastic people #3 to learn a bit of Spanish #4 to come home and have the best summer of my life so far. #5 Become a better individual.
Success rate.
#1 Check. I had a great time. No doubt about it.
#2 Check, I’ve met so many new great and fantastic people. Just to mention a few, Kristen and Cash, Michael Angelo, Victor and Adam and Erin Prout. And there was a lot more great ones, too many to mention them all.
#3 no, I did not learn even close to enough Spanish and it really bothers me. I will go back again and do it properly.
#4 Not sure yet, but so far fuck yeah! The plan was to work enough in Canada so that I wouldn’t have to work in Sweden this summer. That did happen but I also spent too much money in Canada (again, couldn’t handle money even if my life depended on it) But if I play my cards right I could still make it happen. So far it’s been so good I couldn’t have asked for more. Lazy days in the sun (yes I got a bit burned but just enough) good parties at night and some of the best people the world have to offer. (and I should know). My only problem, maybe I shouldn’t call it a problem since I normaly do ignore it, has been all the drama that I thought I left behind to be solved is still around. I feel like I have reached a point in my life where I don’t have to be a part of all the drama that happens, that life is too great to be wasted on shit like that. And it is shit. One might even call it horse manure! But it will not affect me. You might consider me cynical or harsh but no one will not ruin my summer. At the moment I love my life. I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Maybe I should, but spending my days in the sun with my coconut oil and Björn and Viktoria among others can’t compete with much. Buy some smokies and potato salad and then crank the BBQ, how could one go wrong?!
I'm gonna keep on doing it and if you don’t feel like being a part of it please stay away. This is the first and last time I’ll talk about it. So here is you chance to join me in my far from boring summer. ‘Cos it’s gonna be the best one so far.
#5. Check.
Hand stands!
